It provides high-level training in the fields of international business, diplomacy, economics, law and contemporary politics. The course is aimed at individuals who presently work, or who hope to work, in both the public and private sectors and who wish to increase their understanding of the international environment in which they operate. It is designed for individuals working in the government sector engaged in the implementation and provision of policy advice in the areas of foreign affairs, trade and business related issues. In the private domain, the course is designed for individuals who are operating, or looking to work, in an international capacity in both the corporate or not-for-profit sector. Advanced standingCandidates may be eligible for advanced standing for a maximum of six units considered to be equivalent to particular requirements in the course of study. Advanced standing is restricted to study completed in the last five years. The program manager assesses advanced standing. Course structure(a) Students must complete eight core units (48 points):
