Caulfield First semester 2006 (OCL)
Synopsis: The unit provides a comparative overview of international issues affecting public sector policy and management. Topics include the concept and impact of globalisation on international public policy and management; policy analysis and implementation in a changing world; management issues in international public administration and in developing countries; notions of development; and different strategies for development. Policy formulation and management practices in selected Asian countries are examined.
Assessment: Individual assignment (2500 words): 30% + Individual assignment (3500 words): 40% + Individual assignment (2500 words): 30%
