It combines this with a practical orientation stemming from a work placement unit in the actual sporting industry. Course objectivesThe Bachelor of Sports Promotion and Events Management is designed to provide students with a theoretical and practical understanding of the business of managing and promoting sporting events. Course structureCourse requirements Students must complete the following: (a) the following compulsory core units (48 points):
(b) a major in sports promotion or events management (48 points). (c) a minor in arts or business (not from chosen major (24 points)). (d) a further 24 points at either first, second or third year level. (e) a minimum of 36 points at third-year level (includes those completed in the major(s)). Sports promotion (arts) major
