Course description

This double degree course allows students to qualify with both the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Business (Marketing) degrees.

The Bachelor of Arts is a general, flexible degree which allows students to match academic interests with career aspirations to create a personalised course progression. Studying humanities will develop general knowledge and specific intellectual skills relating to human thought and relations, such as the way we communicate or how the past has affected the present. Social science analyses and explains societies and the relationships of individuals within those societies.

The Bachelor of Business (Marketing) component of the course aims at developing a basis that will enable the graduate to deal with change in a dynamic society and also provide a foundation for further study. Students completing the course are expected to be well informed and developed in their decision-making skills and approach to business problems and issues. The course is designed to equip students for future business roles, including the areas of general marketing, sales, product and advertising management, retailing and marketing research.
