Objectives

This course provides major studies in the theory, practice, technology and research techniques of mass communications together with studies in the business disciplines of tourism such as marketing, management and law, planning development and evaluation.

Tourism sequence

The study of tourism includes the behaviour and motivations of tourists, the businesses which service the tourists and the economic, social and environmental impacts of tourism. Skills developed are primarily in management, marketing and general business studies and include critical thinking, research, analysis and communication.
