DescriptionThe Bachelor of Business and Commerce provides an international degree. The course is designed to provide maximum flexibility and to allow depth and breadth in the study of the major business and commerce discipline areas. Its structure the capacity to tailor applications and focus in different contexts and different environments while ensuring knowledge of the theory, principles and core elements in the relevant discipline areas. The Bachelor of Professional Communication equips students with professional communication skills and knowledge relevant to a range of communication and media professions. Students are given the flexibility to undertake specialist training in the fields of communication, journalism and/or public relations. RequirementsThe degree requires completion of 32 units (192 points) over a maximum of 10 years as follows: Business and Commerce component(a.) 16 units (96 points) taken from the Bachelor of Business and Commerce as follows: (i.) six compulsory common core units (36 points):
(ii.) a major of eight units (48 points):*
*Note: Depending on the major chosen, one or more of the units in the major may have already been studied as part of the group of common core units - where this is the case, students will complete an additional unit as detailed below. (iii.) additional units selected from the faculty in the Bachelor of Business and Commerce at the student's campus of enrolment, to reach the required minimum of 16 units (96 points).
