Bachelor of Communication


General information

The Bachelor of Communication is a three-year professionally oriented program with an international focus, providing skills that can be utilised in areas such as mass media, public affairs and corporate communication.
Students will undertake a major of study in communication with sequences of studies in international studies and writing. In addition, students will undertake a range of elective units from the Faculty of Arts or other faculties.

Course structure

Students must complete the following:
(a) a compulsory major of at least eight six-point units in communication
(b) a compulsory arts international studies sequence of six six-point arts units
(c) a compulsory specialisation sequence of six six-point units in writing
(d) four six-point elective units drawn from one or more disciplines or areas from Arts and/or other faculties.
(e) a maximum of 10 first-level units (no more than 60 points).
