study - accounting, banking and finance, business law and taxation,
econometrics and business statistics, economics, electronic commerce,

least eight subjects from the faculty areas of study comprising at least two
subjects at each of first, second and third-year levels

students to take three subjects: Malaysian studies, national language (there is
one subject for Malaysian citizens and another for citizens of other

This
degree enables students to transfer into other courses offered by the faculty
in Australia, subject to successful completion of appropriate subjects. The
required academic achievement level needed to gain a transfer as well as the
extent of credit for subjects completed will depend upon the program and major
studies undertaken in line with the following transfer options:
- · for those students who met the Australian on-shore degree
intake standard in the year of entry - a pass in all subjects with all
relevant subject prerequisites being met or
- · for those students who did not meet the Australian on-shore
degree intake standard in the year of entry - normally the student must
have achieved a credit average in all subjects undertaken and have met all
relevant subject prerequisites.
To proceed in any specialised discipline
area normally a credit in the subject(s) in that area is required. The program
of study enables transfer with full credit up to first-year for the Bachelor of
Commerce and Bachelor of Economics and after three semesters of study for the
Bachelor of Business (tagged) programs, the Bachelor of Business and Bachelor
of Business and Electronic Commerce. Beyond this time period the level of
credit given on articulation will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Students who might apply, at some future stage in their studies, to transfer to
another Monash University campus are strongly advised to discuss their
intentions with a student adviser when commencing the Bachelor of Business and
Commerce and whenever selecting subjects.
