The content of the program will provide students with excellent training for further postgraduate study in psychology or business. Course structureAreas of studyThe degree provides a major specialisation in psychology and either management or marketing. Students have the option of one open elective in the degree. All other studies are in the disciplines of psychology, management or marketing. Course requirementsThe degree requirements are: (a) completion of six compulsory units (36 points)
(b) completion of seven units (42 points) of your choice which may complete a major specialisation in either management or marketing: (i) one management unit (6 points). (ii) two second-year-level management/marketing units (12 points). (iii) a further four management/marketing units (24 points), of which at least two must be third-year units. (c) completion of a 10-unit (60 points) major sequence in psychology:
(d) a total of 24 units (144 points) over a maximum of 10 years of study. (e) a maximum of 10 first-year-level units (60 points). (f) a minimum of seven third-year-level units (42 points), of which at least three units (18 points) must be from the Faculty of Business and Economics. (g) an option to include a maximum of one unit (6 points) in disciplines taught by other Monash faculties or from units offered on campuses other than the campus delivering this program.
