Caulfield Full year 2005 (Day)
Synopsis: This unit will show how the theoretical base for information management and information systems established in the first year core units and co-requisite second year units is expressed in information management and systems development practice. Students will be required to undertake project development work, both by themselves and in groups. Project work will be carried out under the supervision of a member of academic staff, and wherever possible the projects will be drawn from real life clients.
Assessment: Examination: 20% + Assignments and project work: 80%
Contact Hours: 4 hours per week
Prerequisites: Only available to students enrolled in the Bachelor of Information Systems, IMS1000 or equivalent, IMS1002.
