Synopsis: ECE3905 is a practical unit in designing and constructing a small engineering project within the framework of a team. Students will be exposed to project planning techniques, lateral thinking and problem solving exercises as well as project management and documentation. Students will develop one of a number of projects on offer in a team based environment to test their knowledge and gain practical experience in managing a complex multi-person task.
Assessment: Design project: 70% + Examination (2 hours): 30%
Contact Hours: 12 hours of lectures
Prerequisites: Any two of (ECE3301, ECE3502, ECE3603, ECE3703) or (ECE3703 and TEC3741)
