Course description

Course structure

Students enter this branch of engineering after completion of the common first year (refer to the entry for the Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Arts earlier in this section).

Course requirements

Students require a total of 246 credit points (or 250 depending on prerequisites) including level one, of which not less than 150 credit points (or 154 depending on prerequisites) must be obtained from the engineering units listed below.
The arts component requires 96 credit points, consisting of a major (48 points), a minor (24 points), an additional first-year sequence (12 points) and a further 12 points of arts units.

Eng: 24 credit points

Year 5 - remaining arts and engineering units

It is recommended to take the level 2 engineering units over two years of study with appropriate arts units.
