Clayton First semester 2005 (Day)
Synopsis: Systematic approach to engineering data collection, analysis and interpretation. Scope includes data, information and knowledge; data presentation; errors; randomness; exploratory data analysis; basic statistical procedures; systematic experimental design; stochastic and deterministic models; modelling in engineering systems.
Assessment: Projects: 50% + Examination: 50% + Students must pass both components
Contact Hours: 26 lectures, 26 practice classes
Corequisites: CIV2205
