This
course is designed to prepare graduates for a career in media sales. Students
should form a broad conceptual understanding of the media and advertising
industry environment and specific understanding of media audience research
methodologies, media planning, buying and selling methods and customer
relationship development.
Following the full-time six-week block session, students will have an
opportunity to begin a 12-month employment cadetship at a leading media company
as an entry-level media executive (salary range of approximately $27,000 to
$32,000 per annum).
Students must complete four core units (24 credit points):
