Clinical honours thesis IV: Implementing and reporting research (24 points)

Synopsis:

Objectives: At the completion of the unit the student will be expected to: 1. Conduct appropriate data analysis and interpretation; 2. Generate a report on the project, demonstrating critical analysis and discussion of findings in the context of prior research showing due regard to relevant stylistic conventions; 3. Disseminate research findings; 4. Apply clinical reasoning to selected pathophysiological and psychosocial nursing phenomena; 5. Demonstrate safe clinical practice based on current theoretical and pharmacological knowledge.

Assessment: Clinical Research report 80%; Oral seminar presentation 20%; Clinical Component* Pass/Fail *Students must pass the clinical to pass the unit
