The Master of Management provides students with the analytical skills required
to meet the changing needs of business. It offers students a detailed
understanding of the management process through a structured study program of
higher-level subjects from the graduate offerings of the Department of
Management. The degree can be completed by either a coursework option or by a
coursework and research paper option. The course material is presented at an
advanced level and will build upon prior studies in management.
Applicants need to have completed, with an average grade of credit or above,
either an honours degree in a relevant discipline, or the Graduate Diploma in
Business Management, or equivalent qualification with an average of credit or
above from a recognised tertiary institution. Candidates may be eligible for a
maximum of two credit exemptions for subjects considered to be equivalent to
particular requirements in the course of study. Refer to the course director

This is a fee-paying course. Candidates should consult the Department of
Management as to the 2000 course fee. Course fees are set and reviewed annually
and are therefore subject to change.
