Management of natural resources is becoming an ever-important issue in modern society. The core subjects of this program are selected to alert students to the issues of resource management, and to provide them with a wide range of analytical, monitoring, and management skills. Since, by its nature, resource management is a multidisciplinary study, the program provides scope for a number of elective subjects which may be selected from other disciplines of science and mathematics, or from relevant studies in computing, business management, communication, tourism, economics, sociology, or engineering.
