subject.
Objectives Students must complete both parts one and two (CHI3450) in order to develop the ability to write formal correspondence using appropriate business vocabulary; a knowledge of mainland Chinese business practices; the oral/aural ability for formal and informal modes of communication across a range of social and business contexts.
Synopsis This subject develops practical writing and oral skills used in Chinese business and commerce in contemporary China. Students enrolled in stream F (Chinese for dialect speakers) cannot take this subject as an elective.
