Objectives
Structure
Students complete a compulsory communication major and an arts minor, with additional studies chosen from a variety of disciplines.

Requirements
Students must complete at least 144 points:
(a.) a communication major of eight units (48 points)
(b.) an arts minor (24 points)
(c.) at least three first-year arts sequences. Current unit offerings are:
- COM1010 Media studies and COM1020 Introduction to communication studies
- INT1010 Contemporary worlds 1 and INT1020 Contemporary worlds 2
- JRN1902 Newsroom practice and theory and JRN1903 Feature writing
Students must complete across the duration of the course:
- at least 96 points of arts units
- a minimum of 36 points at third-year (including those completed in the communications major sequence)
- no more than 10 units (60 points) at a first-year level.
