Key to abbreviations used in unit entries

Units are listed in the handbook by order of unit codes, eg ABC1234. Below is a key to abbreviations used in unit entries.

KEY

• EFTSL - equivalent full-time student load
• ESP-EC - on-campus Enhancement Studies Program centre
• ESP-TC - Enhancement Studies Program distance tutorial centre
• Block-on - on-campus, block of classes
• Block-off - off-campus, block of classes
• ONLINE-DAY - electronic delivery, day students, on-campus 'drop in' helpdesk and on-campus examination
• RES-DAY - day residential
• RES-EVEN - evening residential
• S1-32 - semester 1 (extended) (23/01/2006 - 23/06/2006)
• S2-32 - semester 2 (extended) (26/06/2006 - 24/11/2006)
• S2-S1-02 - teaching period starts semester 2 (17/07/2006) and finishes semester 1 (01/06/2007)
• SCA - student contribution amount
• Split-on - on-campus, split block of classes
• Split-off - off-campus, split block of classes
• Weekend-on - on-campus, weekend classes
• Weekend-off - off-campus, weekend classes
