Synopsis: Introduction to the major differences between domestic and IHRM; cultural, social and ethical issues for IHRM; IHRM planning, policies and procedures; international relations and evaluation of host country environments; recruitment and selection; remuneration; training and compensating expatriates; maintaining the employment relationship within international operations.

Assessment: Individual assignment (2000 words): 20% + Individual assignment (3000 words): 30% + Tutorial participation: 10% + Examination (2 hours): 40%

Contact Hours: One 3-hour class per week
