Executive Certificate in Workplace and Employee Relations

Course description

This course develops practitioner skills on a sound analytical and conceptual basis. It is ideally suited for industrial relations and human resources practitioners and for managers. It focuses upon the workplace while making the necessary connections with the broader institutional and legal framework.

Course structure

Students must complete four core units (24 points):

MGX9180 Employee relations
MGX9220 Industrial and workplace relations
MGX9600 Managing people and organisations
BTX9070 Labour relations law

Students who successfully complete the Executive Certificate in Workplace and Employee Relations may apply for admission to the Graduate Diploma in Workplace and Relations or the Master of Workplace and Employee Relations and would be eligible for advanced standing for four units.
