It provides knowledge of rural and regional community development principles and practices, with an emphasis on collaborative and self-directed learning. Entry requirementsThe minimum requirement for entry is one of the following:
English proficiency requirementsApplicants who are not native speakers of English will be required to demonstrate substantial competence in written and spoken English before admission. These requirements are: (i) education in full English medium in an English-speaking country, or (ii) IELTS -- 7.0 global (no score below 6); TOEFL -- 600 with TWE of 5; computer-based TOEFL -- 250. Monash's English language requirements are currently under review. Students should consult the admissions website at for any amendments. Course structureThe course will comprise 24 points of part-time study over two semesters. There will be four 6-point units as follows:
