Entry requirementsApplicants should hold a bachelors degree with at least a credit average in the final year; or a bachelors pass degree with demonstrable professional experience at a senior level in a relevant area (these applicants will need to supply a CV, a 1000-word statement and the names of two professional referees); or completion of the Monash Faculty/Graduate Certificate in Applied Linguistics provided a credit average was achieved. Note that prior study of linguistics is not required as a prerequisite. Advanced standingIn accordance with the policy to award credit for prior learning, advanced standing to a maximum of 24 points may be counted towards the Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Linguistics.
