Synopsis: A continuation of INM1010. Lectures explore the historical, cultural, and political background to the symbols of the Indonesian state while practicals and tutorials continue to develop proficiency in basic communication tasks, though with a greater emphasis on travel related themes.

Assessment: 1.Spoken presentation 10 minutes 25%; 2.Cultural Journal (in English)(1,000 words): 15%; 3.Short tasks (500 words): 10%; 4.Written Examination: 2 hours 30%; 5.Spoken Exam 20 minutes 20%
