Clayton Second semester 2005 (Day)
Synopsis: Applications and hardware implementations on advanced digital signal processors. Digital image processing using computerised tomography as an example. An introduction to time scale and time frequency wavelets. A comparison of artificial intelligence systems: neural networks, expert systems and fuzzy logic.
Assessment: Examination (3 hours): 70% + Laboratory and assignment work: 30%
