Graduate Certificate in Medical Acupuncture

Course code: 2678 + Off-campus (Department of General Practice, East Bentleigh) + Full-fee-paying course: $TBC (Australian residents); $7250 (international students)

The course will bring medical practitioners who study medical acupuncture to a stage where they can practise acupuncture competently and safely within the community.

Entry requirements

Applicants must be registered medical practitioners engaged in full or part-time general practice.

Attendance

Two compulsory weekend workshops (15 hours each).

Course structure

The course is conducted over approximately one year, consisting of two part-time semesters. Students are required to complete the following units:

Assessment

Assessment consists of coursework participation, assignments, formal examination and clinical supervision, including attendance at two compulsory weekend workshops.
