BMC2021Synthetic Chemistry A (6 points)(PHA) Leader: Professor Peter Scammells
Offered: Synopsis:
Objectives: Assessment: Mid-Semester Test (1 Hour) 20%; Practical Work 30%; Examination 50%; Contact Hours: The unit includes 12 weeks of 2 Lectures per week, 1 week of 1 Lecture / 1 Tutorial, as well as 9 x 4hr Practicals. Prerequisites: CHM1011 Chemistry, CHM1022 Chemistry, BMC1021 Introduction to Medicinal Chemistry. Corequisites: BMC2032 Biomolecules (Structure & Function), BMC2042 Analytical Methods, BMC2071 Toxicology, BMC2050 Computational Chemistry, BMC2080 Intro to Spectroscopy and BMC2101 Drug Formulation and Delivery. |
