The Bachelor of Communication is a three-year professionally oriented program with an international focus, providing skills that can be utilised in areas such as mass media, public affairs and corporate communication.
Students will undertake a major of study in communication with sequences of studies in international studies and writing. In addition, students will undertake a range of elective units from the Faculty of Arts or other faculties.

Students must complete at least 144 points but not more than
162 points including:
(a) a communications major of eight units (48 points)
(b) an arts minor
(c) at least three first-year arts sequences (currently: COM1010 and COM1020;
JRN1902 and JRN1903; INT1010 and INT1020)
(d) at least 96 points of arts units
(e) a minimum of 36 points at third-year (including those completed in the
communications major sequence)
(f) a maximum of 60 points at first year.
Unit offerings are subject to change and review. Students should always
check with the faculty officers when planning their course. Some courses and
units described may be altered, or may not be offered due to insufficient
enrolments or changes to teaching personnel.
