Postgraduate diplomas of education

The postgraduate diplomas of education are designed for graduates who have completed a fourth year of post-secondary study, usually in education. The normal duration for each postgraduate diploma is two semesters full-time or four semesters part-time.
Most postgraduate diplomas have been designed to fully articulate with the Master of Education by coursework degree including its specialist streams.

Aims

The Postgraduate Diploma of Education is designed to meet the needs of educators, educational administrators, managers, policy-makers and others interested in learning and education and in working in the wider educational community.
The programs are offered either as a generalist stream or as a series of specialist streams. In the generalist stream, students will be able to choose their units from across the broad spectrum of units offered in any one year. In the specialist streams, units will be specified.
