Synopsis: This unit recognises the organisational context of welfare practice and explores the ways this context affects practice interventions. Students are introduced to practice strategies for organisational change, and prepared for the management functions embodied in welfare positions, with emphasis on project planning and current trends in resourcing.

Assessment: Workbook assignment (2000 words): 40% + Tender submission assignment (2500 words): 60%

Prerequisites: GSC2303 and either GSC2304 or GSC2310
