Photomedia studio 4 (6 points)

Synopsis: This unit builds on skills and understanding acquired in Photomedia Studio 3 and/or other photomedia electives, and provides opportunity for students to continue to develop skills in photography with expert guidance, and to bring their practice to an advanced point of achievement at undergraduate level. In consultation with the lecturer, students will propose and research a theme of individual interest and will produce a folio of work to a high standard on this theme, with supporting documentation of high calibre in a journal.

Assessment: By folio 100%, including a mid-semester assessment worth at least 20% of the final mark, final folio, worth 80%, to comprise journal, negotiated project and support work.

Contact Hours: 4 hours of lectures, tutorials and/or workshops and 8 independent study hours per week
