Photomedia studio 3 (6 points)

Synopsis: This unit is primarily directed at final year students in either BFA or BVA courses, and builds on the skills and understanding acquired in Photomedia Studio 2 and/or other photomedia electives and core units. It provides an opportunity for students to develop further expertise in photomedia. The unit will enable students to bring their creative practice to a substantial level of competency with skills in both the technical and aesthetic aspects of photomedia, with emphasis on refining their personal visual language.

Assessment: By folio 100%, including a mid-semester assessment worth at least 20% of the final mark; final folio, worth 80%, to comprise journal, negotiated project and support work

Contact Hours: 4 hours of lectures, tutorials and/or workshops and 8 independent study hours per week

Prerequisites: PHO2102
