MKF5521International study program in marketing (6 points)(BUS) Leader: Ms Sandra Luxton/Mr Michael Morrison
Offered: Synopsis: International Study Program in Marketing is offered to students who have completed MKX9610 and four other marketing units. The program is designed to expose students to the thinking of some of the world's leading marketers. Students are expected to understand the critical factors associated with marketing in an international arena such as culture, marketing communication, branding, sponsorship, globalisation, research, e-marketing, customer services and retailing. In addition to the standard subject fees payable for this unit, students are required to pay for airfares, transfer and accommodation. Assessment: Participation in a five day study block prior to the Study Tour. 2,000 word Research Proposal:20% 4,000 word Research Report:40% Examination: 40% Contact Hours: Pre-Program 2-Day study block of 13 hours + Company visits and group seminars 20 hours + Post-Program 1-Day study block of 6 hours.
