The discipline

Ecology is the study of interactions between plants, animals and the environment. It is concerned with the balance between organisms and the ecosystems in which they live.

Sequence requirements

Major sequence in ecology (48 points):

• BIO1011 and either BIO1022 or BIO1042, and
• either BIO2011 or BIO2051, and at least one of BIO2181 and BIO2231, and
• any 18 or 24 remaining points from BIO3122, BIO3011, BIO3103, BIO3111, BIO3091, BIO3021, BIO3082 and GEN3062.
