Synopsis: This unit explores theoretical frameworks in casework practice, including systems theory, feminist casework, radical casework, problem solving and crisis intervention theory. In particular attention is paid to the process of casework, and how theory is developed in assessments and case plans.

Assessment: Case study (2500 words): 60% + Examination (2 hours): 40%
