6 points + 3 hours per week + Second semester + Gippsland and OCDL + A 16-day field placement

Synopsis: Topics include organisational structure, management theory, teamwork and administrative skills necessary for effective organisational practice, how laws are made, the role of the welfare worker in relation to the law, and specific areas of law which are relevant to organisations, workers and clients.

Assessment: Field education placement workbook (2000-2500 words): 50% + Law assignment (2500 words): 50% + Both pieces of assessment must be passed to achieve a pass in the subject
