IDS2031Nature and human nature(SCI)
4 points + One hour per week staff supervision, seven hours per week individual and group study + First semester + Caulfield, Clayton, Gippsland + Prerequisites: PSY1011 and PSY1022 + Corequisites: PSY2031 and PSY2051 Synopsis: Students will works in small groups under the supervision of a member of staff on an investigative topic relating to some aspect of nature and human nature. Topics will be drawn from a wide range of discipline areas including psychology, philosophy, sociology, environmental studies, biological and biomedical sciences, politics and history. Topics may also be interdisciplinary. Assessment: Group poster paper (1000 words): 30% + Individual research report (2000 words): 60% + Individual contribution to group: 10% |
