GRN3315German Studies, advanced I, part 1(ART)
C Weller and H Heinze 6 points + 4 hours per week + First semester + Clayton + Prerequisites: GRN2225 or GRN2228 + Prohibitions: GRN3415, GRN3515, GRN3615 Synopsis: Component 1: A communicative course designed to further speaking and reading skills in German. The emphasis is on learning to use German correctly in discussing a variety of topics. Component 2 will focus on the highly productive artistic and intellectual developments in German and Austrian culture from the Fin du Siècle until the end or World War 2.
