The Master of Business (Banking and Finance) by coursework and minor thesis
aims to provide a masters level of study for banking and finance professionals
from all levels who are seeking to deepen their level of knowledge and to
enhance their practical skills in the banking and finance industry.
Applicants need to have completed, with an average grade of credit or above, an
honours degree in a relevant discipline, or the Graduate Diploma in Banking and
Finance, or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
No credit for work done previously is available in this masters degree.
This is a fee-paying course. Candidates should consult the Department of
Accounting and Finance as to the 2000 course fee. Course fees are set and
reviewed annually and are therefore subject to change.
The course is comprised of a thesis and five subjects. Candidates holding BBus(Hons) need not complete the research methods subject.
The course is comprised of eight subjects. Students may select these from the mode A list as well as from the following:
