Synopsis: Design of research proposals; the collection of qualitative and quantitative data using a variety of research techniques; applying statistical techniques to the analysis of quantitative data; probability and non-probability sampling designs and ethical issues in business research.

Assessment: Two written assignments (up to 4000 words each): 35% + End-of-semester test: 15% + Examination: (3 hours): 50%
