Multimedia programming in Java

Objectives At the successful completion of this course students should have the necessary knowledge to design and develop object-oriented, network-extensible programs using the Java programming language. In addition, students will have knowledge of modern object-oriented software engineering techniques and their use with Java.

Synopsis This subject deals with software engineering and development using object-oriented methods for internet-based applications. The subject covers the OMT design methodology, rapid prototyping, design patterns, application frameworks, debugging, testing, interface development, and revision control. The principle programming environment is the Java programming language.
