Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject, students should have developed knowledge and understanding of children and adolescents with special needs and varying patterns of abilities, including those who have intellectual and language disabilities as well as those with autism spectrum disorders and those who are academically gifted. Students should also have developed skills in curriculum adaptation and management practices which promote inclusion.

Synopsis This subject is designed to focus on the curriculum and management implications for both schools and other settings. The emerging issues of inclusion, the establishment of supportive school environments and other settings and flexible delivery of services will be discussed.

Assessment Written assignment:(3000 words) 50% - Class presentation (3000 words): 50%
