Introduction to special needs/inclusion

Objectives Upon successful completion of this subject, students would be expected to have knowledge and understanding of children and adolescents with special needs and varying patterns of abilities, including intellectual and language disabilities as well as those with autism spectrum disorders and those who are academically gifted.

Synopsis This subject is designed to focus on the curriculum and management implications for both schools and other settings.

Assessment Class presentation (2000 words): 50% - Written assignment (1500-2000 words): 50%
