Objectives As for CHB4204, with the additional objective of making informed judgement about the ethics of state regulation of various reproductive and health care practices, and be able to defend these judgements on the basis of argument.

Synopsis As for CHB4204.

Assessment Essay (2000 words): 30% -Essay (2000 words): 30% -Take-home exam (2000 words): 40% -Distance education students are also required to keep a journal, recording their work for each topic.

A book of readings will be provided by the centre.
