Objectives On completion of this subject students will be able to appreciate and apply computer-based operations research methods to a variety of decision making problems in industry and commerce.
Synopsis Introduction to a range of practical operations research methods currently being used in industry and commerce. The emphasis of the subject will be on practical applications and case studies. Appropriate software will be reviewed and students will be encouraged to develop their own models.
