Objectives At the completion of this subject students should understand some of the methods used in operations research and be familiar with typical applications of the methodology.
Synopsis The subject will cover a range of methods used in operations research. It is suitable for students wishing to study quantitative models currently used in industry and commerce. The emphasis of the subject will be on practical applications and case studies. The methodology will be described and students will be provided with appropriate computer software to develop their own models.
Assessment Assignment: 20%
