The Graduate Diploma in Operations Management has been designed to provide executives with key manufacturing and service management knowledge and skills. The graduate diploma emphasises internationally competitive practices and blends modern theory with practical applications drawn in part from students' workplace experience.
On completion of this course students will be able to:
Applicants require a pass degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution plus a minimum of three years relevant employment experience or an executive certificate from this faculty with an average grade of credit or above.
This is a fee-paying course. Candidates should consult the Department of Management as to the 1998 course fee. Course fees are set and reviewed annually and are therefore subject to change.
Candidates may be eligible for a maximum of four credit exemptions for subjects considered to be equivalent to particular subjects in the course of study. Please refer to the course director for further details.
Evening classes are offered on-campus at the Caulfield campus.
The Graduate Diploma in Operations Management is normally completed in four semesters of part-time study. This course may also be completed over three consecutive semesters including a summer semester.

Students who successfully complete the Graduate Diploma in Operations Management with an average grade of credit or above may apply for admission to the Master of Management (Operations Management).
