Objectives On completion of this subject students should be able to apply systems thinking and organisational learning principles and processes; develop reflective and evaluative skills necessary to review their own contribution to the success or failure of the change process; demonstrate an understanding of personal change strategies and their effectiveness; examine the dynamics of change at a personal and organisational level.

Synopsis This subject will examine managing change from an individual and organisational perspective. Change in placid and turbulent environments will be contrasted. Emphasis will be placed on evaluating and improving management practices to better achieve desired outcomes.

Assessment Three individual written assignments. Reflective paper: 20%
* Change management portfolio: 50%
* Topic paper: 30%
