Advanced topics in banking II

Objectives On the completion of this subject students should have developed a sound understanding of the theory of banking and finance; appreciation of the importance of the legal framework of the finance sector.

Synopsis This subject provides a study of a select range of topics relating to banking and finance and may include monetary policy; options theory in financial markets; law related to international trade; advanced financial institutions law; customer credit and risk analysis and productivity and performance in financial institutions.

Assessment Assignments: 40%
* Examination (3 hours): 60%
